General Price List

These prices are effective as of November 15, 2013 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

 

Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff

$2,850.00

Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining the necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)



Embalming

$825.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that doesnot require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.



Other Preparations

Direct Cremation with a minimum Cremation Container.

$4,195.00

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes transfer of remains from place of death (local), transportation to local crematory, temporary shelter of the body and minimum services of staff. The crematory fees are included. Any applicable county fees and State of Illinois retail sales taxes are not included in the charges listed herewith.



Immediate Burial

$4,265.00

Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains; and local transportation to the cemetery. A casket must be selected. You may veiw our caskets under our Products & Personalization tab. (All such containers must meet any cemetery requirements.) 



Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home

$4,520.00

The charge includes removal of remains, minimum service of staff, necessary authorizations, embalming, use of preparation room and transportation to local airport or other place of shipment within a 40 mile radius (excluding shipping charges and shipping container ).



Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home

$4,170.00

This charge includes minimum services of staff, transportation from local airport of other shipping destination and transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include visitation or rites of ceremonies.
